THE DIRECT CONNECTION
Currently I am involved in a special project in Guanajuato. Creating a connection for people through an online directory – www.gtoconnect.com. Gto or Guanajuato Connect is a directory in English to assist visitors who do not speak Spanish in getting to know what this special city has to offer. We have all worked very diligently on this directory and look forward to you checking this out.
CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE
We all have people around us that we influence everyday, whether it is grandchildren, neighbors, friends, family or strangers, there is someone who is learning from you. Remember this, be a role model, show them how to reach for their biggest dreams through your actions on yours. Teach them that anything is possible by believing in yourself. Make sure that you communicate to empower, encourage them with words.
You can do it; Your are so intelligent; You have such a good heart; Follow your dreams; Go for it; You are such a beautiful soul/person; You can do anything you want to do, I know you can; I am so proud of you; You are so gifted; I really admire the way you _______;
Look for ways you can use empowerment communication. Using empowerment communication can change a life.
I had a 9 year old girl come to the ranch with her family and one morning she approached me for a deep level conversation. In the conversation I told her that she could have anything she wanted, she only had to want it with all her heart and take the action to get it. She said with conviction, “I can’t have anything I want”. I asked her to name one thing that she couldn’t have. She thought a second and said, “the Whitehouse”. I responded, Well the Whitehouse is owned by the American people right?” She said, “yes”. “And you are an American citizen, so you already own part of the Whitehouse, and, if you run for president and get elected you can live there.” You just have to know that that is what you really want and then go after it.
A stillness came over the room and she grew very quiet as she thought a long minute. Then she looked at me and suddenly a light came on her face and was shining through her eyes and she exclaimed, “Oh, I See”.
Turn on your light and others will see how it’s done. Remember they are learning from you, whether you do or whether you don’t that is what you are passing along.
Our Greatest Challenge is the Basic Understanding of Life
Its times like this that are the greatest challenge. Even as centered as I am I struggle at times in the greater understanding of the grand plan. So I sit in the central garden watching humans interact which brings me back to an appreciation of being human. We are all very beautiful and yet we still struggle with the basic understanding of human existence.
We have been given many blessings. The ability to smell the sweet fragrance of a rose, the ability to think and make decisions for ourselves. The ability to create, taste flavors and feel the chemistry of another human being. The ability to feel the unconditional love of our pet and the touch of a lovers hand. Each of us unique and yet we are all one – connected by and through the source. This is so miraculous…just think about all that being human offers you – you get to cry and feel the tears run down your face and the lump in your throat – spirits can’t do that. You get to feel that funny feeling when someone tickles you or tells a funny joke that makes you laugh – spirits can’t do that. You get to smell the aromas from a really good meal as it’s coming from the kitchen, you get to feel the juices in mouth water as you anticipate eating and finally you get to experience the flavors in your mouth as you eat the food – spirits can’t do that. This is just the beginning of why it is so great to be in human form. Spirits like yourself make this journey to have these experiences, to have fun, to feel all the emotions, to learn, to touch and love, and so much more.
This is why I struggle with the pain and fears that I see in so many individuals. Many of these emotions stem from events that humans view from a perspective that lends itself to only reveal the pain and fear emotions. They fail to see the beauty and the magic around them because their perspectives lack the basic understanding of life. If everyone had a basic understanding of life, their perspective would be different and therefore their pain and fears would cease to exist or at least be diminished.
It is this understanding that I believe Jesus meant for everyone to have. If you have ever looked into the soul of Jesus through his pictures, you will see a lot of power and a tremendous amount of pain. I believe the pain to be from this sadness that I share. He wanted so much for people to understand what he knew to be true, but they were unable to comprehend the information which made Jesus very sad. It has been many years since then and yet we still struggle with this basic understanding.
The basic understanding is that we are spirits of light ascended into physical forms to create a magical experience as human beings. That we are here to have fun, make mistakes, learn, and love each other and everything around us. That’s it, nothing more. And when you are done with your human journey you “die”. When you die, you are not “dead”, you have simply transcended, or transformed, back into light. You still exist, just on the existential plane. That plane exists simultaneously with us and so your loved one is still with you the same as the sun light surrounds you everyday. Think of it as a Spirits vacation or going away to school – when the vacation or education is finished, they return home. So the next time you step outside and feel the sunlight on your skin picture your loved one touching you through the light – because they are there, and will always be there – in the light. As a spirit emotion does not exist, so you and I come down to Earth to receive a break from the peaceful bliss we usually live in. We are still the same energy, we just have taken on a physical form so that we can experience something different for a while. Likewise, the love you share is an energy that is passed between you and the object of your affection. That energy always exists, it is there in your heart and surrounding you, available for you anytime you need it. You can call to you any energy that you want to be with you – your grandmother, mother, father, best friend, dog, cat, whatever and it will come to you as light. Many of you will feel their presence through a faint familiar fragrance in the air, a general feeling of presence, a slight whisp of breeze that brushes you, a visualization of them through the corner of your eye, a thought or memory that suddenly pops up bringing you tears or laughter, or a dream that comes to you in the night. These are your messages that they still exist, that they are there, they have never really left – just transformed.
Their journey as human beings has ended, much the same as a vacation comes to an end. You will miss their humanness – the ability to hug them, to touch them, to hear them talk, to share the human experience with them. Feel that loss, but know that they are still there with and for you in the light. Your mission is to continue on your human journey now and live it to it’s fullest everyday appreciating, loving and living and when your journey is done, you will rejoin with all the other spirits that you have always been a part of and you will share all that you’ve experienced on your human journey (vacation).
